another possible airstill (Northern Ireland)

Post by Curmudgeon » Fri Jun 14, 2019 5:34 am

There is an airstill advertised on gumtree near Belfast for £70. It appears to be the bang up to date one with all metal fittings and metal output and a glass collection jar and the guy/gal is asking £70 which I think is very reasonable.

(not me or someone I know)

I can collect it and post it over if one of you Great Britishers wants it.

edit : ps whats that in the background? zimmer frame or still parts?

I thought it was a white cat - Being hung out to dry on an indoor airer.

On a serious note, are you really sure that is an air still. It looks far too shiny for my thinking

I'm sure that if we drank less and polished more, we'd have that. Look at the nozzle. Isn't that one of the newer ones with a metal not plastic outlet thingummie?

I have never seen any polished ss airstills. They are brushed. Neither has Google it seems. The lid is also the wrong shape.

It's made by a different manufacturer. It's an airstill Jim but not as we know it.
I am sure it will do the job, might need a power controller.

Looks like a shiney clone to me.
If I wanted one, I would take a punt.
