For anyone wanting to get into whole grain brewing, this is a real bargain.

Ok, pardon my ignorance, as I’ve never brewed beer before, but what exactly am I getting for my £273.45?

Can I have the Seasame Street explanation of how this is supposed to work?

Basically with this you put your water in and put your malted barley in the central tube.
You can programme the heat to whatever you choose.
It will re-circulate the mash through the grain.
You can lift the 'tube' and sparge the grain.
It even comes with a chilling coil to rapidly cool the wort.
Then run it off into a fermenter and add yeast.

This is one of the best you tube videos, slightly bigger and a different name, but just the same.

GEB are even including the ingredients for your first brew!

I only got my version of this in April.
To date it has been used for 27 beer mashes and 24 whisky washes.
You could say that I like it! :D

Not beer brewing, but thought it would apply being a Black Friday bargain and saves starting another post.

Alembic setup for just over £200.00 instead of the usual £250.00

It is a very good and useful addition to the T500.
That is a good deal.
25ltr washes striped in 2hrs 20 mins.
Gin in larger quantities, Rum etc etc...
And it looks quite sinister sitting on the work top.
Kidded to my young nephew it was my space
helmet from the latest Star Wars Film. That means
I get to take him and watch the film. :D :D

I’ve been thinking about one of these for awhile.
What’s the consensus on these?
Worth the money?
