There is no rubber band, nor has there ever been one and yes I have the illuminated on/off switch.

So it seems the boilers are indeed different from country to country.

Edit to add: Simmo\'s neighbor bought the T500 and it didnt fit (too tall) Thats how Simmo got his, they share LOL

mine seems to be the same as yours & yours also looks like it has the rubber band

(seal) around it.

also noticed that it just fits under your ceiling, makes me feel so lucky to have

12 foot ceilings in my house :)

I\'ve got the output water sat at 53 degrees and it\'s kicking out 800ml an hour.
Not sure what % though as I managed to break my spirit hydrometer this morning. I\'ll get one ordered on monday.
I\'m splitting the output into 400ml mason jars. The first two jars have a very slight smell but the ones after that are totally odourless. I used an alcotec 48 for this wash and I\'m very very impressed.
Hopefully this week I\'ll be able to run some of the output from stripping runs as I\'ve got some waiting :)
The one fiddly bit for me was hooking up the water supply - the tap fitting I have is a lot bigger diameter than the adaptor on the needle valve - and the T500 uses 6mm pipe rather than the 8mm of the ss reflux so I had a job fitting the old tap connector to the new pipes..

But it would be handy to know the total size/height of the T500, just in case it doesn\'t work out cost effective to BYO and I just say \"F*** it\" and splash the cash.
I\'d need to know, to make sure of the operating area having water/drainage available.....
TVM

P.

I would remove it before use or it might melt to the boiler.

I am looking into the possibility of drilling out the hole to fit a rubber

grommet to suit the probe.
