StillSmart Home distillation made easy! 2012-05-19T17:07:15+00:00 http://www.stillsmart.co.uk/forum/feed.php?f=1&t=1053 2012-05-19T17:07:15+00:00 2012-05-19T17:07:15+00:00 http://www.stillsmart.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1053&p=8356#p8356 <![CDATA[Re: RO Filter]]> one of these to use for getting RO water for letting down and additional distillations (I use tap water for the wash, distill, let down to 40% or so with RO, re-distill, let down to exactly 40% and then carbon filter).

I've yet to get my finger out my arse and install it (getting my RO from the aquarium shop still ATM).

So it should be fine for distilling RO as well as water so "erindoors" can use some for watering her orchids.......

That said how much difference does RO water make ? So far ive just run sugar washes from tap water then used brita filtered water for diluting or second distilaation water.
Is RO more important when doing 'recipe' washes, as I plan to do quite soon when I sort a pot head out
