Brilliant idea.

I think an overnight soak is what each botanical needs. I discovered this is the way many setup taste experiments.

Bottles.... Schweppes tonic bottle from pubs.
Clear Glass. 4 or 5 inches. Accept a crown cap and a wine stopper. Label comes off with overnight soak.
Sweet bar maids will give you a handful if you ask (as opposed to a mouthful)

Sorry...

Thats basically what that bloke who runs the Cambridge distilling company (think that's the name) does.

You have to make an appointment, discuss flavours, personal preference, etc and then he makes you a bespoke bottle of gin.

Though it seems to carry a bit of a caveat, inasfaras it's a very limited market i.e. too much money/not enough sense, corporate, and so on. Sounds a bit cynical but the prices last time I checked were astronomical..........

I am finding pepper or GOP tent to deaden it a little but make the finish longer.

Can't be certain, but a lot of these articles seen to allude to those who've taken the easy option and got rectifiers licenses.

Just buying in NGS in bulk, then flavouring it.

I've always liked gin, but with my plebby, unrefined palette find it had to do it justice and identify the different flavour.

I just tend to drown it in tonic........
