Now if you had a slow speed motor that you could hook up to something that endlessly inverted the demijohn, you might be onto something! I am far too lazy myself.

I don't know of anyone on this site that does.
But the question is not far away from another active thread here currently.
Carbon filtering is only done for a neutral tasting spirit,
mostly by pot stillers, as other stillers tend to get a more neutral spirit anyway.
And carbon sitting passively in the bottom of a bottle of spirit will not work as efficiently as carbon tumbling through an inverted bottle of spirit.
Or, spirit tumbling through carbon in a bought or homemade carbon filter.

Does anyone use loose carbon filtering, just putting sone carbon into the storage bottles ?

Interested in any thoughts? after reading this i might try it.
