Interesting though.

My local LHBS pointed it out so i thought id give it a whirl.

tastes good, i added it to 40% double distilled spirit.

very mellow.

as an aside i made a "smokey peaty" whiskey a few months ago for a mate and recently got to taste it. I made it from the hearts section of the run only and im sad to say it was distinctly lacking in "bite".
There was no bitterness and almost tasted like a honeyed whiskey than a whiskey.
