I think the base premise for this thread was that someone, somewhere, claimed to have made Peach Brandy from a can of peaches.

I mentioned adding dunder (rum), backset (whiskey) but couldn't and can't think of the right term for brandy. I still (pun intended) think I'm right.

No need to boil.

And I do agree they are flavourless, which works well for the wine (only).

Consider also that hot fermentations blow of flavours too.
