Essences arrived today. Tried your recipe 3 drops Ginger and 5 mils Rhubarb. Not a bad knock off for Whitley Nell. Thanks for the heads up on this recipe. What other essences have you tried to flavour your Gins.

there was only a slight colour change but you could taste it.

After Mash cause Rhubarb is such a delicate flavour.
Every time I see Rhubarb I keep thinking of the film

It helps if you keep the ABV a little higher
say42 or 43%.

What do you mean by louche?

It goes cloudy when you put the tonic in ( almost milky )
