No problems at all, price was VG and delivery was 15 days.

QUOTE "We are not operational yet, as we are still missing the goods to fill our warehouse. We already take non-binding advance orders, but unfortunately we can not tell any prices yet. At start we will have most common items in 2" and 4" in stock, as well as a selection of 50L / 70L / 150L boilers. Anything larger will either be stocked later as demand can be determined or built to customer specifications. END QUOTE

You *can* butt solder a 2" SS ferrule to 54mm copper pipe, but the SS ferrule is slightly smaller than the 54mm tube and adding heat repeatedly (running a still) will most likely break the joint.

As the ferrule is smaller you can't really use it inside a female fitting either if going up a column size(and keeping a 2" keg connection, if that is what you are after) - which would be a bad idea any way as the copper would expand more (just as myles said)

Even if you do find some you may find the dimensions not compatible with copper tube. You really want the copper inside the stainless if you can manage that. Expansion co-efficients.
I prefer to use the brass SD ferrules. 2" version is a good fit with 54 mm copper tube.

I did send an email to Still Dragon about shipping costs for their ferrules, but got no reply. Perhaps I will send another.

No probs with fitting SS ferrules, I have access to a large engineering workshop so I will make something up.

VT..did you find your ferrules & clamps??? I'm just getting some bits together and I've priced 2x 3" ferrules and a clamp...£28..don't know what the P&P will be on it. Can't make up my mind to go with 2" or 3" copper pipe tho. ???

I was recommended one on ebay from HK, sent them a message to confirm it was SS, it is, so I ordered, £13.28 = 2 ferrules + clamp + gasket + postage.

Yep checked them out a while ago, but, £40.50 for 2 ferrules, 1 clamp, 1 gasket, inc delivery is a bit on the steep side
