It's a simple and easy way that turns the lid into the possibility of using different sections...a sight glass, plated section, gin basket, whatever you may think of.

All it takes is a nut, 2" straight connector, a short length of 2" copper pipe and a 2" ferrule.
Tools will be a gas torch, lead-free solder, flux, and emery paper.

The photos show how it all fits.

Then using 2" tri clover clamps, away you go....This is one of my main setups converter, torpedo, and sight glass.
