i reckon he has included sugar and yeast .mine works out at £3.85 a kale wash ATM inc 5kg of T@L + allinsons and the kale.

Yes just a rough figure Mash. But now very
happy with results, the vodka is of a high standard.
making good cuts and a carbon essentcia filter and
it can be drunk neat.

Yes yes to the second bit Mash. Just stripped 3x 25L
Kale wases. Now have 17l of 53% to play with.
Don't make stronger washes make more washes.
Same result, but better taste/product and cheaper.
Kale wash about £3.50 a go.
Some of these yeast packs cost that much.
Or am I missing something.

Make a high concentrate invert syrup (80%) with the remaining sugar.

It does work. It is a PITA. It is a technique for getting more out of a traditional yeast. Not normally a turbo.

You find an easy way. Everyone gets taken in by the bright lights of highest alc yeast. Many then find one of two ways, either a natural wash that gets done quickly, cleanly and suits them or vodka star seems to have a strong following.

I wouldn't do this, but would suggest adding extra sugar, a few days apart dissolved in water may be the way to go, when fermentation slows.
What the feck do I know?
Not really a topic of interest.

Ive just got hold of some High Alcohol yeast (Non Turbo) and the instructions states can achieve 18 to 20% if you sugar feed. Im guessing this means you dont add all the sugar at the start but add when the ferment slows down. Question is how do I add it, dissolved in water or just throw it in and how much per addition. Anyone have any experience of this?

Im planning on using 8 bags in total. (i use this many with a turbo yeast to achieve 18%)
