Not that I have dentures, but I once picked up a dropped tube of Denture cleaning tablets in a super market car park.
They worked wonders on my SS Cafetiere.
Maybe I should try some on Copper?

I got one of those ultrasonic cleaners cheap in Lidl. I add citric acid. Still doesnt get them like new.

Once upon a time I had shiny Copper boil bits.
Now they are dull and lifeless.
Whoops,I have strayed into hair product territory.
Citric,after a Spirit run is my usual,it helps but is not as good as I would hope.

There is something Chill. I have took mine out of something shining, but can't remember now.

I have put mine in some waste vinegar. Let's see!
Previously used citric but that wasn't stunning.

And so it is! I did a heads run today and the pH at end was as high as I could measure. And the coins were not bright and shiny. Science is restored but now I am wondering what it was that I ran that cleaned them up so nicely. Tails tomorrow, maybe it was that? Though I don't see how. I will pay more attention the next time they are left all clean.

I would agree, that is why everyone trys adjusting with a backset inclusion. The acids are left in the boiler.

I would disagree that home distilling is magical. There is enough knowledge out there to get it right, you just gotta learn to cut, I can't tell you how to do that over the internet although.

I can attempt to, with a few tricks, but, as long as you are not bound by what you read on the internet.

It is a huge oxymoron.

I don't really know why, but it seems to work. Might be the baking soda breaking the ethyl acetate back into acid and ethanol? Or it could be some other reaction entirely.
