I have to concur with my learned friends on this point...go with the 500...get started straight away...then when your ready build a column that's best for you.

If free time is at a premium right now, take the T500 and water regulator route.
When time allows, build something else.
Then sell or keep the T500.
For yourself, it seems that cost effective good alcohol production is number one priority on the list right now.
Do what you can at the moment.

Just keep putting the pressure on to buy or build....ave got a keg sitting there waiting to be abused by drills and such....ave got copper pipe on tap...and ave got the missus asking if I would like a T500 for me birthday....and not enough time to enjoy it due to work....something has to give...hhhhmmmmm

It would be nice to get to drink it sometimes....19 year old daughter and her mates....only words I ever hear is 'Got any vod'...so its gone before I can have any my self,,,,does that make me in the middle.
