The plan for the weekend is to mash as much of the stuff that I can, then add sugar and 500gm of soaked lentils to make up a 50litre batch at around 1.090

I'll also use Alinsons bread yeast, it'll be an all grain lentil wash hybrid!!

I'll post pics on as I go, nothing like experimenting on a large scale >:D

I'm thinking of running a 50litre wash with 10kgs of sugar and only one packet of vodka star, will this be enough vodka star?

I also plan not to heat the fermenter for the first few days as I think it won't need it but does anyone have any experience with this size of wash and if there's a possibility it could get too hot for the little yeasties?
