Its usually enough, perhaps to cover the head of a 1pence piece. I presume, as I'm careful with hygiene, ingredients etc, that it's likely to be a very small amount of natural plant oils that haven't been refined out, but as the sugars are fermented, they just do the "oil on water" thing and combine in a small amount.
As I just fill the still with a racking tube, they just stay on top and end up going down the drain.
