1 teaspoon to a gallon of anything nice will sweeten it and give it a rounder, fuller feeling on the tongue. For one bottle you want the tiniest amount.

I've started using it in ciders too. Haven't tried in wine yet.

Been there, worn the T shirt.
Now nicotine and Ecig free.
I still own Fecked lungs.

This stuff is the best. Comes in various quantities. Dilute for Ecig

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301746604099

Might sound a dumb question, I assume it is but I've never used it.

It does have a slight sweetening effect (not fermentable) and much more than 1 teaspoon per gallon is too much for me.

I ruined some of Rum Johns splendid syrup rum with this and think it will have to go back in the still.

Yarp.
Until you try it you won't know, and then is it actually worth the botheration?
Myself,I'm coming down on
the side of the don't do it side of the fence.
But maybe you have to try it.
Personal preference/taste.
