And all should be good.

This is the one , i purchased the 28cms one, i drilled ,cut a 58mm (i think) hole in the bottom for the T500 to fit too and this fits perfect on my boiler without the seal. The only problem is that if i fit the seal to the lid it catches the lifting handles on the boiler but if the seal was a bit shorter it would allow it to fit on top of the boiler not the new lid. This would make it a much better job.

My plan is to cut it and remove about 10-15mm and rejoin the seal with adhesive or glue. Having read about the nasties in different things could anyone recommend a glue or adhesive to me.

The set up so far is as follows
T500
New lid made from a stainless steel bowl with hole cut for T500

I,m hoping to start the first ferment later this week
