If you buy in bulk it works out a lot cheaper.
Don't know what type of still you guys are
using. I use T500 with copper dome &condenser
for my Rum.Lots of flavour carries thru and
has a slight golden tinge when it comes thru the
still. And of course that lovely smell :) :)

It was 5ltrs of Lincoln molasses from Cornwall farmers and 3kg of unrefined cane sugar.
Topped up to around 26ltrs and then 4tbs of bakers yeast.
Ferments like a beast and the whole house smells amazing for the first couple of days

There is still a co2 cap over the wash and it tastes dry.
