In the end, only one sample was like I ordered and the order itself was 30% damaged. It was a really simple item, but they just did not do well. Fortunately it was not much money for the samples, but the order itself was significant and the time until we got at least some money back was half a year....

Small items, where money loss do not hurt may be a good idea sometimes, but bigger things, even more, when warranty is important, are too risky for me.

StillDragon is made in China, this is no sectret. But there are things, that we don't do any more, like for example Tri-clamps could be bought cheaper from some factories, but we buy them only from one and they are not the cheapest on the market. Why? The cheaper ones broke and did not hold on long time. This is something, I don't want to see on a still with alocohol vapours in action. Sometimes only cheap is not all...

A 2.25" boss would be very big stuck on the side...and as some one said the element would be a lot higher up the boiler...I've found an element (China) it's winging itself here... eta end of month....hence the need for a SSR.
