LOL Robert. I have a 1.5 bedroom apartment and a 0.75 tolerant to my BS wife, so I promise it's possible to have too many, even though I haven't found the limit yet.

As an aside, at 20 degrees lentil washes are taking ages and golden syrup/cachaca washes are finishing really quite quickly.

Just using coins here.

I've just finished spirit run on first cachaca was. I ended up with about 1.25 litres @ 50% from 8 litres of initial wash (2 x 907g lyles golden syrup).

Sipping it on ice as we speak and it's rather splendid.

The main bottle has had a little vanilla, french oak, and glycerol added.

2nd wash of the same is not far behind and had a little demerara sugar added to bring it up to 1.080. I have 23L of lentil wash doing nicely too.

Time to get more 23L fermenters methinks.

Don't bother with rings - coinage is much better. The noise also tells you wanted going on.

If you have coins you don't need conditioner... They solve the problem. I have never used it.

Yeah, I use coins as my still came with nothing and they are noisy, but I do mean to buy ceramic thingies.

I haven't used conditioner and so far so good. I'm getting organised for 1st cachaca run and may use a little olive oil like I do when boiling spaghetti as it's not as clear as the lentil washes.

You sure can. Keep the empty Ecig bottles. You will need to thin the glycerine.

What you can do is divide one bottle of flavour into 3 empties and top up. Also reduces the nicotine. This is the method we used and my wife have up all together.

Thanks guys. I picked up a little mini bottle in asda for a quid and added like one drop to a bottle and it is the holy grail for me at least

edit : as per Robert's advice, just ordered a litre for £6.89 including postage and apparently I can make gloop for the Boss's e-cigs too.

Don't threaten it, it is not needed
Buy it by the litre from the online retailer beginning with A.
Even past it's sell by date it is the DB's.
My old bottle is even Kosher.

Probably is. It adds a smoothness and a bit of sweetness. BUT threat with care. tsp per gallon is a rough guide to start with. Worth getting a syringe. Often found in the baking aisle at any Morrisbury's

I'm reasonably pleased for a first attempt.

My palate is pretty knackered but my only real problem is that the flavours are separate as in I am tasting them one at a time while drinking.

A "proper" blend would have me enjoying the overall smell and taste and then my mouth and brain identifying and appreciating the different flavours, I think.
