I normally store at 65%, but was running low on storage - so I have a DJ with additives on oak for ageing, a DJ of silver rum, and the best part of a 1.5L watered down a to a more acceptable level for drinking now.

Also got 2/3rds of a DJ with 94% feints that will go into my next rum - I had a full DJ of feints for this run, hence the large return.
It seems to be a very slightly lighter rum than my last one (the last one was really strong in flavour - much more so than commercial white)- there was less dunder and wash in the boiler for the spirit run, but the boiler was full so I guess that's my fault, for getting greedy.
I now have a working prototype controller to replace my broken one - not in a box yet, so didn't fancy using the large boiler with a new controller for an extended run.

Over all I'm a happy chappy.

look at page two - maple only added to the boiler not the ferment - It's ten to three and I'm still running, only planned to pull the heads off and call it a night, but this stuff is so tasty I don't want it to go wrong.

Man this it going to make a good drink.
