I find Alcotec 48 happens several days faster, and for me no great taste difference in finished product.
And yes,the more fermenters the merrier!

It can be slow to clear but the end result is good. If space allows, buy more fermenters so you're never waiting on a wash to clear.

Another useful luxury is a fermenter (the type with handles) that is only used to rack the wash and hold that wash while you get the strip runs done. With the airstill I'd do 2 x strip/ 1 x spirit run, rinse and repeat but if 6 x strip/ 3 x spirit suits you better, hey it all works. :)

On another subject if I was able to get dextrose really cheap would it be preferable to use this rather than sugar and if so do u just add an extra kilo.

Can you put it somewhere cooler? this may help it to clear.

On the other hand there's nothing stopping you from running it, but the cleaner the wash goes in...the better for you, what comes out.

You say you've been "doing it for a month"....are you following any paperwork that may have come with the still???
