Included is one solid activated carbon cartridge.

Hope this helps.

I am running a batch later this week through my new EZ filter, Ill post my finding on here, but I can tell you now that in my eyes, the essencia is really good quality, and gives good results, bad side is: I make a batch every few months and by the time I go to use the essencia again it has discoloured and looks a little \"dodgy\" to me, therfore I end up having to buy a new ceramic filter and carbon filter and messing around with running my spirit through without diluting it too much with the water in the filter from priming it. Hope this helps.
