Mash has changed his avatar......why?????????????? :D :D

I suspect Shenanigans are afoot again.
I spotted Mashy's avatar change, almost as he did it, and a good week or more after someone else changed their user name, again.
I have tried to keep my head down.

We could be headed back to the old days of Madonna and Peanuts, Kylie and Snoopy or whatever it was.
Whatever, changing your forum user name really messes with the reading of archived posts, I know, I had cause to read some forum history last week, and it was bonkers due to name changes.

I guess some of us may view posts here as throw away items, and some as part of an expanding library.

Am I wrong in suggesting that this forum is primarily here to try and help, and not to confuscate?

Robert.

The easiest way to make a coil.
Get some 6mm pipe from JTM, fill the coil with water and put it in the freezer. Whilst it's still frozen wrap it around some 40mm waste pipe. It will fit inside 52mm.

That sounds like pure genius! If not all your own work, share in the Kudos for putting it out there.
I knew of filling with sand, never would have considered freezing water inside.
Has to be much easier than annealing and waving gas torching around?

You gotta have a tall freezer to freeze about 2.5m length of copper

It comes in 10 meter coils, about 50cm in diameter.
