I do not wish to take issue with my compatriot chill here.what he states is true,and possibly truer,-if you make cuts,as recommended on this site,the chance of ANY Acetone being in your spirit to be filtered is so low as to be totally ignored.
Just take a look at the Boiling point of Acetone.
The point I wish to make here is Superglue.
I know there have been posts here speaking of the difficulty of splitting the plastic sections of the filter.
And Super-glue,which only ever sticks my own fingers together,and not the requisite article has been mentioned.
Tell me,if You ran a factory/plant making these items,and could use a hot glue gun,fusing similar plastics,or a complex nozzle injecting Super-glue,which would you choose?
I believe that you are overthinking this.
