87 pounds?!?! Wow, that's pricey for only 25amps. I got the 40amp DIY from SD and it's been working excellent for 7-8 years now.
Definitely cheaper alternatives. ;)

I think mine was cheaper, but don't wish to split hairs.

My power controller is made by United Automation, it's this one

http://www.united-automation.com/avr-25 ... scia-dial/

They are expensive compared to the DIY builds people make but I can't fault it, it's worked flawlessly for 4-5 years

https://www.stilldragon.eu/en/adapters/ ... tting.html

The GF boiler has two elements 2kw and 500w, I'm going to test it stripping a wash at 2kw, Ive only used a 150mm long dephlagmator as the product condensor and I'm not sure its big enough to fully condense the output at 2kw, if not I'll use the proper, longer product Condensor or my power controller to limit the power to maybe 1500w.

I think. And is that the same lid as a T500 ?
If so could you adapt SD pot fittings condensers
etc ?
What size 2"?
