Gin I do at 40%.
Any other "Classic" spirit has been made using a bought in essence and is somewhere inbetween.
Apple pie or other fruit flavored tipples are usually around 25%.
All of the above percentages are + or - a percentage point or two. ;D

Vodka, Spiced Rum 38%
Rum, Bourbon,Scotch etc 40%
Gin 42% to stop louching.
Shots and silly drinks 30%

Learnt my lesson a while back made some limoncello @ 40%
took it to a party almost frozen as it should be, noone
could taste how strong it was. Neatly paralyzed the
whole party in 30 mins flat.
