Good call. Does it have depth. I sort of gave up on the essence whiskeys because of this.

With the tasting ability of an average heathen, I can't really say yay or nay, just that I was surprisingly pleased how good it tasted, both straight and with coke.........

Few years back, on someone else's recommend, I went on a mission for some Essencia brand gin (which apparently, does a good impression of Bombay.........or is it Plymouth). I got some and a few others.

I've just found the pack of Essencia Rye Whiskey. I do prefer Sour Mash, but it gets the thumbs up from me.

Not bad, at all........

It is a 2250ml mix, which might be a bit much for some........
