Not sure how long it would continue to improve if left on the Jd chips or wether it's Just a short time till the spirit has drawn out all the remnants from the chips.

I'm just wondering as I quite like the sour mash one they do but it's getting a bit expensive now As I'm using so much. I have been filling demijohns with 4ltrs of neutral aged on Jd chunks And then putting 4 sachets in as they do 1ltr supposedly. Any comments please?
