Just a quick mention my local hbs in Mansfield are now stocking all Still Spirits stuff and ive been to chesterfield several times but now i dont need to travel the 20 mins to chesterfield after me badgering him to stock still spirits lol, it is under new ownership and about time too the shop now looks great on the internal and external but up to now he isnt on the internet again iam badgering him to go on the internet so fingers crossed guys.I dont know if iam allowed to give his addy out but here goes, Home Brewer Centre 31,Ratcliffe Gate, Mansfield, Notts. Try using Google.
Wineworks are a good company and I recommend them - but there are others and as far as the internet goes just as good and carry as much stock.

is a very good internet shop; no good if you need to ask a question though as he probably wonâ€™t have the time for you - even if itâ€™s just a quick question about an item you want to buy from him. BUT if you know what you want - the internet service is second to none.

My local HBS stocks the full range of ss products.The advice is good and the chat about our finished products are interesting.

Wish he would stock more of the Prestige range and Alcotec yeasts though as i am now having to get these mail order.

But I would love it if one opened near me as it would be great to

visit and maybe obtain information about my hobbie face to face.

Mmmm 'Use it or loose it' - I have always had a hard time with this saying. I do business with people, if I like the person and get good service from them then I don't mind paying the extra. To use a company 'just because' is no reason in my opinion.
One thing I have learned is that loyalty breeds complacency. I have on occasion done business with a person (company) I did not like, simply because they had what I wanted and could not get it from anywhere else in time. I did try my favourites (wine works among others) but they were unable to help me on this occasion.

I agree opus27 when i need to order any still spirits items i always use wineworks as i cant see how anyone can better the service they give,but i still support the local HB,suppose its a case of use it or loose it.

I Agree, I just placed another order with wineworks today.

I emailed Richard about abtaining a still spirits herbal essence

(tastes like jagermeister)

as I could not find it anywhere, later that day he phoned me back

informing myself that he has now added the essence to the website. lovely.

Have to agree that both Richard and Kate are extremly helpfull and amicable, but lets be careull not to short circuit our local HB Shops, if we have one. After all if we buy Still Spirits we will be suporting both Wine Works and our Local HB Shop.

All I can say is if you live close to wineworks you are a lucky bugger lol,I have ordered from them several times and every time the order has arrived in a flash and Richard is always very helpfull answering any questions when I have spoken to him on the phone,will be using them all the time.

Ive just had a look on their web site and its brilliant and Chesterfield is not very far from me, so i will be having a trip down there in the very near future , Cheers umpa for the information. And by the way iam a newbie on this site and its brilliant , Ive learned such a lot about the SS only had it since saturday and just putting water through it for now so i can get a good stock of pure distilled water, Anyway thats all from me for now, Cheers All.

I have spoke to Richard on the phone a couple of times and e-mailed him and he is the most helpful bloke in the world, I even tried to talk him in to opening a shop in my local area but Iâ€™m not holding my breath.
