Not if your teeth are as bad as mine.

Heat and lid.
Is the way that used to work for me.
These (mine) have obviously dried beyond a critical popping point, I will continue to try and find it by water addition.
I really did read someone claiming that this worked, many years back.

Let's see.

Sweet is good, cheesy is ok, I don't like salted, but I've never tried pepper sauce before. That sounds interesting, I might give that a try tonight.

So what's your favoured method of popping?

Just googled a whirleypop pan and found one on Amazon. Best thing we ever bought off QVC many many years ago, and I'm damn sure we didn't pay anything like that price.

I really do agree with you about waste and have pursued similar projects myself in the past.

My last couple of Kilos of corn are well past their sell by date now, and don't pop very well, but don't seem to contain any weevils.
While in the Caribbean I did read somewhere of a way of re-vitalising dried up popping corn, it involved a capped jar and water.
I am on the trial and error method at the moment.
I do appear to have the constitution of a Concrete Elephant and welcome suggestions.
It is not that I am tight, I just hate waste, and even the chucks aren't impressed so far.
Yes,I could have tried Uncle Google, but that would have denied you another of my daft facets.

Robert.
