I simply sprinkle the yeast on top of everything else.
Results visible within minutes, along with that smell of fermentation.
Not saying that I am right, but it works for me.

The Vit B1 is of course presented by the Multivite tab.

The wine industry (probably one of the fussiest about fermentation) continues to use DAP either alone of as a major part of their specialist nutrients.

The wheat bran brings speed and mouthfeel to the spirit.

However to each his own.

It doesn't usually take much longer.
Equally I don't wait for washes to be totally clear these days.

Maybe I still use DAP for the "Je ne sais quoi" that it might bring to the party. ;D

Yeast doesn't need as much nitrogen as first thought, and the excess DAP results in product off flavours.
