I suspect you'd need to piss about quite a bit to make a "proper" bourbon type mash, then the extra effort to get the "stilling" right.

So far, none of the commercial flavourings have been bad at all. Not a million miles away from the Brand names etc. All very drinkable to my taste.....

Plus it's about the easiest method you'll find ;D

Name:Jim Beam No2 Style
Ingredients: Top Shelf Classic American Bourbon 10ml
Mellow Oak 3ml
Still Spirits Glycerine 2.5ml


Method:Mix Classic American Bourbon with 10ml of Mellow Oak Essence 3ml and 2.5 mlStill Spirits Glycerine in 700 ml of base alcohol @ 40%


This makes up 1 700ml Bottle so you can mix and match as you go

2 what is the absolute easiest recipe for bourbon to practice with ( remember im retarded). THE EASIEST.
3 sometimes the terms used when reading all the recipe formus throws me for a loop.
