I rang up the local aquarium shop and asked about bottled RO water, the girl just laughed and asked what it was!
You are right about using the Air Still for flavored spirit I have loads of wild plums in the freezer. I am thinking of 2Lb of fruit to 1kg sugar per gallon, ferment on the pulp for a week or so,drain off and ferment out, then distill in the air still for a bit of flavor. I always double distill as per advice on this forum, always had good results with that little machine.
She must have been the cleaner then.......
Reverse Osmosis water, with NO MINERALS is what you need. You will need a can/drum as my local one charges about £3 for 25 litres with an extra 50p if you wanted the extra minerals for the aquarium (different minerals used for tropical/fresh water fish and marine tropicals so you know).
