That looks a lot of kit for the money

That said how much difference does RO water make ? So far ive just run sugar washes from tap water then used brita filtered water for diluting or second distilaation water.
Is RO more important when doing 'recipe' washes, as I plan to do quite soon when I sort a pot head out

I've been using RO water for a couple of years for cutting and second/third distillations. Tried using it for a wash instead of tap water but could'nt honestly say there was any benefit. Fortunately I already had the RoMan system for my aquariums so didn't have to justify the cost.

I got myself one of these to use for getting RO water for letting down and additional distillations (I use tap water for the wash, distill, let down to 40% or so with RO, re-distill, let down to exactly 40% and then carbon filter).

I've yet to get my finger out my arse and install it (getting my RO from the aquarium shop still ATM).

So it should be fine for distilling RO as well as water so "erindoors" can use some for watering her orchids.......
