Anyone know if the seals on Kilner jars are ok for alcohol storage?

It depends what they are made from.

From what I can see the standard seal is rubber and that would not be recommended.

They may be silicone which may be more acceptable.

If they are rubber and you want to replace them with silicone, you can buy both types here.

Thanks Brian, I was having visions of making seals from PTFE tape.

Make your own seals with sheet cork. You should be able to find sheets of gasket cork at any motorcycle workshop. Use the original kilner rubber seal as a template.

Cork gasket sheet sold in motor cycle shops are synthetic. They contain cork but also rubber, the very thing that you are trying to replace.

As a motorcyclist and ex NW200/ULSTER GP competitor I should have know better and said get a natural cork gasket [best for older aircooled two-strokes] and not the nitrile impregnated type.
Happy YHB?
