Spent a good ten minutes logging onto the site.
Weird.
From the usual machine, the site didn't know me, the browser couldn't help with saved passwords.
Locked out.
Persistence got me in.
Other than that a pretty quiet day. ;D

I am going to award myself 'prolific poster' badge tonight, well, really it was last night.
Dying from man flu and unable to drink alcohol until a couple of hours ago, (expected to be driving), I went to see Amy MacDonald play the Glasgow Barrowland's Ballroom.
Great gig, shitty drive home over ice, even with snow tyres.
First AFD in memory.
Once home, settled into a drink or two, and caught up here.
Tomorrow I will mop my fevered brow. :(

It is a bitch.
And it feels like it will hurt for the rest of the month.
The old alcohol doesn't seem to make a difference. :)

Today I made Apple Pie,to make the place smell like christmas, and to have some seasonal cheer to share.
Had forgotten how good it tasted. :)

Today I read a physical book, given as an xmas gift.
"PROOF The Science of Booze" by Adam Rogers.
I can recommend to all.
In fact it should be mandatory reading.

That has been on my reading list.

I did wonder how good it would be.

After clearing my wine induced hangover I decided that this morning would consist of a trip down to Klunk's Kabin to clean out the Airstill after Xmas eve's quick Gin run. I love it when I pull the top off and get that waft of botanicals. Now in the Kitchen listening to Niall Rogers and Chic live on R2 whilst doing some much neglected paperwork with a cuppa T ;)

This evenings entertainment shall be provided by my secret santa gift of "The Drunken Botanist" by Amy Stewart. 8) 8) 8)
If I wanted patience, i'd have trained to be a doctor.

Find yourself a copy. by hook or by crook, it is right up your street.
Filled with stuff.
Some you know, some you didn't.
It has certainly given me food for thought.

Abebooks UK. Price seems reasonable too.

Rather have a full bottle in front of me
