6kg sugar, bit too much water, about 28 litres. Took a week to be bubbling real slow.

Dropped the hydrometer in and couldn't see the paper. 1.00 is 37mm from the top, 0.990 is 31mm. Only 7mm of the hydrometer was showing! Woohoo!

Ran 4L through the airstill last night, smelt and tasted ok, woke up this morning feeling fresh as a daisy.

I love this hobby.
