I wouldn't wish to do the seller a dis-service here, but even with import duties paid, wouldn't really want one of these being delivered to me,from overseas.
And I don't consider myself paranoid.
Really I think you could assemble a comparative pot still, from home grown parts for less cash.
Well,that's my take on it.
Robert.

I agree 100% with you Robert...you have to keep your head below the line of fire to stay safe. I already have a 100 liter pot to start my build, it just looked an interesting bit of gear, and it was SS..

Its a pot still, sort of.
The vertical jacketed tube gives you a VERY small ability to change the product ABV. If you try to pack it with scrubbers you will be disappointed with the results if you are looking for a reflux column.
You can get a brand new 30 litre keg from the manufacturer for 65 quid, and I know which I would get.

Actually, I seem to remember reading somewhere that they often label them as AC components. If it was such an issue, how do they import containers of T500's and air stills ? They know that we're not all making essential oils etc but its not worth their effort in chasing us for the odd few bottles here and there, despite the fact that if they wanted too they could.......
Hell it'd only take a few geek types and a court order or two.......your IP address is your home (PC's) address......unless you're a TOR user

If it was exactly what I wanted, potential problems with customs wouldn't bother me. Stuff 'em if they can't take a joke.
Owning a still is legal!
They have bigger fish to fry then setting up a sting so as to burst through your door during the ever so small time frame that your still is actually running.
I make no secret of what I do and am happy to talk to anyone I meet about it. The most important thing is to never ever sell any, no matter how often they ask. If someone is being really persistent, I give them a bottle, look them in the eye and say, if you want any more, make it yourself.

TOR won't download to my iPad. It says Safari can't download the file?
Anyone got a fix?

Strangely enough, I did try the bundle labelled "Apple OS" but that's the one that the iPad won't accept

Hum? Presumably that's aimed Imacs etc then
??? (part of why I refuse to buy anything from the brand obsessed thieving b******s..... they want too much control over your kit etc). How much difference there is between OSX and the portable incarnation, I can't say..... you might have more luck searching the apple specific tech sites........
