Hi all I've been given this 100 litre keg now I'm selling this don't no the value but open to sensible offers and you would need to collect it.

Thinking of buying one of Alan Manning's gin still, but i'd still need to buy a pressure cooker and get a coupler flange to attach the column. Is anyone selling one that can provide me with a decent sip? Or if anyone builds them and make reflux still for a reasonable price, i'm all ears.

I have a new one and don't like the amount of time to warm up or the end taste tbh. I was specifically looking for a copper reflux column like Alan's design. Could you make any recomendatins or explain why Alan's still is not preferable as a beginnier's product?

NOTE the bags are half the size of JD Chips (you don't immed see that) and they are cut finer? Don't know if thats an issue or not.

I have a bag but am a wee bit loathed to use them as there is no mention of where or what they come from, also don't smell of whisky.
