Still new to all this,done 2 washes now with turbo yeast, but want to go a more natural way with washes, I now flavour my vodka with fruit syrup. Fruit and sugar in a jar, shaken daily wait till turned to syrup, mix with your vodka. My favourite is pear, have done apple,banana,plum and raspberry.

Sounds really nice! Incidentally, Ikea do some syrups for making cordial - lingonberry and elderflower I think - might be worth a try!
