Thanks for that Benoit. A couple of shiny new taps are now winging their way from Malaysia to Sussex now :)

And a 5% discount for buying 2 was a nice mini surprise. 50p is 50p after all!

Ah you see, I didn't think about that, just jumped in feet first as usual!

Can let you know if it fits when it eventually turns up

I think you're safe, the link was copied over from this thread:

Maybe Toper can confirm if / when he sees this?

They do fit.

Also in that thread is my link to a slightly more expensive one which comes with silicone washers. :)

I just bought four of these screw top 45 litre drums. Food grade HDPE. I have some of the bigger 120 litre versions, but you don't see those very often.

EDit oops forgot the picture!!!

I think these are a good deal at £6.00 each. I got four sent out by courier for £52.80.

If you can pick them up because you are local it would be a real bargain.

http://www.smithsofthedean.co.uk/ are a great source for fermenters, water buts etc.

Thank you seagull for the tip off, picked up an 8 litre square kilner dispenser this afternoon. The lid is slightly larger than a standard clip top so the replacement silicone seal was a bit of a stretch but it went on & still seals tight. Am well chuffed with it, now to decide what to fill it with?! I'm torn between a big batch of cachaça or whether I can generate enough sugar from 10kg of peated malt & age that in there?
First things first, a new tap

Sounds like it'd be worth the 300 mile trip. Train might be the best option tho!!

But even the natives are friendly, not just your fellow campers :)

Hey, the Romans tried to push on a few hundred miles further North, and they didn't even have cars and stuff, and started in Italy ;D
