Hey,
Just did my regular Costco trip where I usually get a 25KG bag for about £14 and they don't have big bags any more

, only multi-pack which work out at about 92P per kilo

.
Had a quick look at Bookers and they are charging £21 for 25KG

.
Anyone know where is cheap at the moment?

£4.20 per 5kG is probably the best you can do unless you buy in bulk.
Here's an interesting fact. The unions are balloting the members at 'British Sugar' for strike action over a pay deal. This company has a virtual monopoly of sugar production in the U.K.

As optic said, Asda is doing it for 61p/Kg for the 2Kg bags. They must have some sort of deal with Tate & Lyle, as they have held that price for ages while all the other sugar has gone up dramatically.
Billingtons molasses sugar, that I use a small amount of in my rum wash, has gone from 73p to 98p per 500g over the last 6 months.

Yep quite right, just got back from Tesco with three 2kG bags at £1.20 ea. thats 60p a kilo.
Mind you, you can't always rely on them having it on the shelf! sometimes it's home delivery only.
