right click on the image you want.
copy the image location, using marks avatar as an example we get
http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/fabea312 ... 6%3Fs%3D48click the IMG tag, a new window will open.
paste the image location into this window (it adds the tags).
your image will now show like this:

In this case you would need to upload the pix to a third party location such as
www.photobucket.com or
http://imageshack.us/ or such.
Then follow the above steps, photobucket will give you a link to copy that already has the [img] tags.
Let me know if I have explained this clear enough.

Hi Andy, Yes I can copy a picture from the photo gallery, but clicking on IMG does not open a new window, only a \'script\' asking me to enter a URL address. (Vista)

OK Andy, if I understand you correctly -- the only way to upload a picture from our own computers, is to first upload the picture to an anonomous site and enter a URL pointing to that site.
For obvious reasons, no-one is going to upload a picture which points directly to their own machine.
Ciao.

Prove it marc, put up a pic

I am using firefox, a small window opens asking for the URL of the pic.
This forum has no "upload" feature hence the 3rd party site is needed to host the pix.

All correct - short answer is, this forum isn\'t the best for features. Sorry guys! I\'ll try to make the next version a bit more user friendly.
