Hi
I hope I am not asking a stupid question, but here goes.

I make my own filter with activated carbon and cotton wool which works really well. When googling for a new bag of carbon, loads of aquatic carbons came up. Is it safe to use this?

If buying online, look for a home brew shop selling "activated carbon" , aquatic carbon may work, but I don't recall anyone sharing that fact.
Guppy shit is different to the congeners found in homestilled spirits.

I'll hang my hat on a Water Rat, but I am happier to see that travellin has found something that tickled his fancy, and it encouraged him to post.
Do it more often dude, we are a friendly bunch, sometimes we are helpful and serious, sometimes we just shoot the breeze.
