Does the reading on the hydrometer change after adding flavour ?

you wont get a true reading because most flavourings contain glycerine. alan

+1 what Alan posted and also, Hydrometer only for use with wash.
Alcometer can only be used with an ethanol/water mix, in other words, after distilling but before anything is added other than time.
