best place to get some 100ml jars for the sprit runs ? and should about 10 suffice ?

The cheapest jarred product that you can find in your local supermarket?
I use 540ml vinegar bottles, about 25p each from Lidl, previously emptied into a new build still for cleaning purposes.
You can use bigger collecting vessels when in the middle of the run, but this is maybe something that you need to experience first?

Might sound a daft question but these jars have plastic lids ,do you use them as well for storing until your next run ?

The local boozer will have tonic bottles. The dumpy one's are great.
These are 150ml. They take a crown cork and a wine making plastic topped bung (port stopper).
The labels soak off in water.

They only recycle [not return] so they are happy to give them away.

Cost - 1 pint of beer ... oh dear how sad

Get a pyrex measuring jug then take your 100ml cuts and transfer into jars of all shapes and sizes (pasta sauces, jam, honey etc)
When the wife is shopping tag along and get creative.

When I started with my AirStill, I bought a dozen 190ml jam pots, and 'calibrated' each to 100ml with a dymo label (each one numbered so I don't get them muddled up!). Now I know my wash numbers, I don't use them except for heads runs, which are always variable, except the one marked at 50ml which I use for foreshots. I also possess two 400ml and two 2l laboratory-grade borosilicate glass beakers with which I can do pretty much everyting from making washes in the first place to processing strip and spirit runs.

Don't know if that helps or not, but it works for me.

You know those GÜ pots with expensive desserts in them? Perfect cuts jars as they are 100ml to the top of the sides/bottom of the rim. We accumulated dozens of them thinking they might be good for something and now they are
