hi all, new so be gentile. has anyone ever used a sick type filer either 1 or 0.5 micron?

What activated carbon is used to filter out is smaller than one micron. Those filters might be useful to filtering the carbon dust out afterwards. Cotton wool is cheaper and easier find.

Tired out a .5 micron filter for attempting to clear a wash as yeast is meant to have a micron size of between 1 and 2 microns

It didn't work.

how much didnt it work cos i never get vodkastar to clear anyway, not like triple distilled does.

all i wanted to do was do away with the finings and try and filter down to .5 micron to see if it worked,or, filter after adding finings and racking off to see if it cleared any more.
