No ice a normal run as per instructions not a strip run. This is supposed to give you a finished product according to the instructions that come with the T500. Then through the pot still with botanicals.

We all know the T500 instructions are not very good but I thought that a spirit run throgh the pot still might produce something drinkable.

If you have both the alembic and T500 column, then you have everything you need to make a neutral base spirit for Gin.

I would go about it in this order,

Step one : first strip using the alembic and collect everything until your output coming off the still is 30%, the result will be about 5-6 litres at around 50-55% of "low wines", do this one more time with another wash so you have more low wines.

Step two : water your low wines down from 50ish% to 30% and fill you boiler with the T500 column and run it, afterwards, make cuts so what you have is a clean neutral spirit.

This Spirit will be the base for your Gin, you need to get to this point before you think about infusing any botanicles, how you do that depends on what setup you have, I'm assuming you will be soaking you botanicles in the spirit before running it once more through the alembic, you could theoretically build a big Sputnik to go in your boiler!

just to be clear, the final spirit run on the alembic pot still after soaking botanicals I only need to throw away the first 150ml and then keep all the rest with no need for cuts?

If I understand your question correctly,- you have stripped,spirit run, made cuts and run again through your botanicals?
On this third run, after throwing a little away, no further cuts are needed, UNTIL you decide that the distillate tastes awful.
And don't ask for a guide % on that, it can vary from 50% down to 30% for me
